White Oak Middle School Homework Help

From the Principal
Dear Families,

On Friday, we celebrated our first Math Festival! TK-3 students visited the multi-use room to engage in a variety of hands-on games, puzzles and activities designed to stretch our brains and build excitement about math! Concrete, experiential learning helps students solidify their understanding and deepen foundational learning to support big thinking and curiosity. Thank you, PTA, for funding this special event and thank you to our many parent volunteers who helped guide students through the stations. Also, I want to extend a special thank you to our TK teacher, Diane McGuigan, who organized and coordinated this event. What a wonderful day of learning and wonder in mathematics!

Visit Achieve the Core to learn more about where we focus math learning at each grade level.

With gratitude,

Allison Liner, Principal

Founders’ Day Award Nominations Needed!
We are fortunate at White Oaks to have so many dedicated parent volunteers and amazing teachers! We need your help in nominating some of these very special people for their extraordinary contributions to our community. The obvious choices are the people who do the big jobs – and these folks sure deserve a huge thank you! Also, don’t forget those individuals who may get overlooked – the ones who are there time and again when the call goes out for help. Please use this form to review the awards given and to submit your nominations before March 20, 2018.

On Wednesday, April 18th, we will hold our annual PTA Founders Day event and celebrate the contributions of our award winners. Please mark your calendar for this special event!

If you have any questions, please contact Susan Raymond, Founders’ Day Chairperson.

Camp is for TK-5th graders and is available for Camp Only, Camp & Care and daily registration.

Check out the website for more information. See you there!

Good Eggs Fundraiser
Starting March 1st,
White Oaks is running a fundraiser through Good Eggs, the online grocery market in the Bay Area bringing absurdly fresh groceries to your door.

In March and April, anytime our school community shops on Good Eggs, they donate 10% back to our school! All you need to do to enroll is:

  1. Visit schools.goodeggs.com
  2. Enter the code – whiteoaks
  3. Shop and 10% goes back to the school! When you place your next Good Eggs order, you don’t need to enter the code again; do it once and you’re enrolled for all of March and April.

Enroll today to raise money for our school! New customers get $15 off when they enroll.
